I think I’ve discovered that Glam Shells shawl pattern on Pinterest, and immediately felt in love with it.

(In case you havn’t noticed, I’m into a “knitting shawl” phase, and have a boulimia for free patterns, trying to increase a little bit the difficulty of my project.

Knitting that Glam Shells shawl wasn’t too tough, and also, lacy enough to allow me to wear it this summer πŸ™‚

In order to make sure I could wear it in summer, I picked a “PHIL THALASSA” yarn, from PhildarΒ (75% cotton and 25% seacell – 50g = 81m, knitted with needles size 3,5mm). That color’s name is “purple ink”, and I really like the mix of these 2 colors πŸ™‚

Don’t be fooled though: although itΒ looks easy and simple, it is not.

That Glam shells pattern requires a lot of focus when knitting.
